My 6 yr old son won a copy of the book and has consented to letting mommy read it for him/to him! I LOVED the party! My son enjoyed the wand making and Divination. This was our first book release party and we chose the library over the bookstores. It was better than I could have imagined. Thanks LFPL!
My husband and I brought our 5 year old and one year old daughters to the party. We LOVED the party too! It was also our first book release party. Our oldest daughter really enjoyed the Mad Science demonstration. I had a lot of fun seeing some people dressed up in costume and everyone looked like they were having a great time waiting for the book to be released.
The library did a great job organizing the party. I bet you it was the best one in town! (I am sad that it was the last Harry Potter book party.) Oh well, it had to end some time.
